Procurement Manager

Job Responsiblities

  1. Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of solar materials and equipment.
  • Identify, evaluate, and build long-term partnerships with reliable local and international suppliers.
  • Conduct market analysis to track pricing, supply availability, and industry trends to manage risks proactively.
  1. Procurement Execution & Compliance
  • Lead contract negotiations, including pricing, payment terms (e.g., L/C, T/T), and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal requirements, Incoterms, and international trade regulations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and uphold quality standards.
  1. Team Leadership & Process Optimization
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Design and implement KPIs to monitor procurement effectiveness and drive ongoing improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide regular reports and strategic advice to the Board of Directors.
  1. Additional Duties
  • Carry out other assignments as delegated by the Board to support organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics, import/export procedures, Incoterms, and global payment methods (e.g., L/C, T/T).
  • Proven negotiation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong leadership and planning skills, including experience managing procurement budgets and teams.

 Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in sourcing and procurement within the renewable energy or solar power sector.
  • Familiarity with international supplier networks and multicultural business environments.
  • Background in implementing procurement digital tools or automation systems.
